IJM has built a new recreational park at sg pinang, penang. It has a very long walk way, very similar to Gurney Drive but it is much wider.
The development in this area, including the reclaimed land opposite Tesco is given to IJM by Penang government as IJM was chartered to build the Jelutong Expressway.
My wife and I visited this park last week and was delighted that Penangites have got a new place for recreation, jogging, cycling etc. I hope this place will be appreciated by the public and well maintained. It has some very nice sea view and penang bridge view.
It is getting more and more popular now as you can see a lot of people there in the evening.
People are there for jogging, cycling, flying kites, fishing, picnic etc....
The condo at the right of the photo, The Spring, was launched recently and it has received overwhelming response. It was priced from 230K and above. All the units expect bumi lots are all sold out during soft launch within few hours. Now some of the bulk purchasers are selling for ~50K more than the original selling price.
The 3 storey linked house in the picture was selling for about 750K. It has a "underground" garage that can fit 2 cars at the back of the house.
